Emma's side of the story
From that very first date we both knew we each were "THE ONE". Our search was over and PerfectMatch.com had, in fact, made a "Perfect Match".
Growing up in the 60's and marrying my high school sweetheart, the thought of internet dating after his death at a young age was something I never thought of doing. I did meet someone and remarried. After 23 years of marriage I again faced the loss of a spouse. Alone again, my cousin suggested a website she had used and it was free. Sorry, free might sound good to some people but to me it sounded like a risk. My feeling was that a more stable person would be willing to pay for a site. I decided, with the help of my daughter, to choose PerfectMatch.com. PerfectMatch seemed right for me!
Wow, how exciting, I began getting contacts from potential dates - but I froze. This was just not me. I did not respond to anyone - how rude. Two weeks into the program, on a rainy Sunday morning I decided that PerfectMatch must offer something I could be comfortable using. I realized that I could do my own search.
I knew I was looking for a widower who knew the importance of a relationship, a stable man with good character and young minded. I also hoped to meet someone from Long Beach Island which has been part of my life forever.
Well, there he was, Terry Moulton, my perfect match! I went one step further and contacted him. He wrote me the most awesome letter that said it all, he was just like me! After a couple of emails and a phone call from him, "the date was set."
"THE DATE" that has never ended. From that very first date we both knew we each were "THE ONE". Our search was over and PerfectMatch.com had, in fact, made a "Perfect Match".
Terry and I have been together just about every day since that first date. Our love has grown and evolved into a romance that I thought only could be expressed in novels. Terry has given me, my children and grandchildren so much love and enjoyment. They loved him from the very beginning.
Our life together began 18 months ago - a happiness and excitement that feels like it did the first time. Two weeks ago Terry asked me to marry him and gave me the most beautiful emerald and diamond ring. It is truly incredible how two people, so perfect for each other, actually found each other! We would never be together without PerfectMatch.com. Thank you so very very much.

Terry's side of the story
Timing is everything. Last Thursday I asked Emma (my perfect match) to be my wife, 18 months after we meet on PerfectMatch. We were a very good fit for each other and knew it right from the first date. The e-mails and phone calls before that date were wonderful and exciting. I feel lucky at my age (65) to find someone as loving and caring as Emma to grow old with. We had both lost our spouses several years ago. I have no children and Emma has a wonderful son and daughter who are both married and have three grandsons, 6, 7 and 9. Both families live next door to her. I never knew what it was like to be a father or grandfather but it looks like I'm finding out now because they have taken me in as one of their own! What mischief can a substitute grandfather and three young boys get into?
We are still merging our lives together and are working on wedding details like when and where. The picture is from a cruise we took last winter and us with the "grandkids". Life is too short to spend it alone.
