We met via PerfectMatch in January 2006. Julie, who was new to internet dating, was matched with 60 men. She liked Steve’s profile the best. He was the first and only man she had approached via Perfect Match. "There was definitely an attraction from the first date"
One night back in 2005 I was completely bored and watching TV when the show I was watching mentioned PerfectMatch.com. I had given other dating sites a try with no luck and thought to myself, "Why, not. It can't hurt to try this one." So I signed up and within a day had been given one PerfectMatch named Jason. Jason and I started emailing back and forth for about 2 weeks before we started talking on the phone. In May 2005 we met for our first date at Starbucks and sat there talking until it closed. There was definitely an attraction from the first date and while we have different interests, we complement each other in so many ways. By the fifth date as we sat in a park and watched two sets of strangers get married, we decided that we were going to be exclusive. In January 2007 Jason proposed and we were married on October 20, 2007 at the Golf Club at Newcastle. Steven and I knew after the first week of emailing one another that we were made for each other! That was back on Feb. 23 of 2008. We talked for about a month everyday and then finally met in person at his church on March 21. After that we didn't spend a weekend apart! We were married on August 26, 2008 and we recently found out that I am now pregnant!
It has been the most miraculous and healing event in my life to find this man of God and be wrapped in safety and love in his arms! Thank you again PerfectMatch! ~ Laurie & Steve
